TRACES OF PLACE

The Traces of Place series consists of four charcoal drawings that capture different aspects of a place I had been frequenting over a span of time. All four pieces were exhibited at Spazju Kreattiv in Valletta, Malta (2011) and at the European Parliament in Brussels, Belgium (2012). The research project forms part of my ongoing place-oriented practice whereby slow-movement in the landscape allows for drawing out place specificities through mark-making on paper.
